I really enjoyed my stay at Edelweiss hotel.
Firstly is situated in the delightful town of Wengen - in the heart of the Jungfrau. The town has spectacular views of the mountains, which was quite breathtaking as I made the short walk from the train station to the hotel.

Daniel, the hotel manager was simply the most hospitable person ever! My
wife and I unfortunately did not pack any winter clothes and we
happenned to arrive during their first snow in over 30 years. Daniel let
us borrow some of us winter clothes for our stay which saved us and
allowed us to enjoy all that this beautiful area had to offer. He spent
some time when we first arrived, giving us a tour of the property and
explaining how all of the trains/aerial cable cars worked. It really

Läget. - I feel very glad that I choosed this hotel. The reception lady is so nice. When she knew we would get up very early and leave for the mountain in the morning, she prepared wonderful breakfast for us to take away in advance. We even didn't ask her... A nice friendly hotel with an excellent breakfast and good selection for dinner. Our room had a balcony that overlooked the farm yard next door. I took a dorm bed (backpacker) and was very pleased with the accommodation.
The owner prepared a very early breakfast especially for me, as I needed to go early, which was really nice.

Very well situated in the middle of Grindelwald with stunning views of the Eiger.. Lovely clean Alpine type room with wood paneling. Nice continental breakfast. Very pleasant owners. the room is very cozy and comfortable, very nice, makes me feel like living in a family, not like other big, posh, impersonal hotels. the staff are very friendly and warm - Breakfast was great. Only a short walk to the city centre. Comfortable budget room. Would definitely stay there again

I have arrived the hotel after midnight. But the staff was waiting foronly us. And he explained all about trip and gave documents for the trip(map, timetable for train, other guildlines...) at that time. - The reception was warm and the owners extremely nice and friendly.

Memorable stay. Beautiful location. Good breakfast. Clean rooms. We will surely be coming again. As a note of info but not criticism, it is for people who wish to stay away from the hustle bustle of touristy activities and who are ready to trek or drive upto this place. The place has not got any elevator so be careful to limit the baggage numbers

Gasthof Panorama really does justify its name. Each morning we ate our breakfast looking out on a beatiful range of snow covered mountains. Our room was simple but spacious with good facilities and a comfortable large double bed. It was wisper quiet. The lady owner was friendly and very helpful. It was our favourite stop of this holiday.

Owner was brilliant. Really put himself out. Location fantastic for cycling the Grimsel and Furka passes. If you are good try the full round taking in the Sustenpass also but be prepared for a really big day.
Overall a great stay. Extended it by one day to take in the Eiger from Grindelvald. -
