  Excellent facilities, good clean rooms, friendly staff who spoke English (sadly I do not speak german) and a good location for getting into the centre of Zurich and the Bahnhof (tram outside the door - tickets available from reception). Have stayed there at least twice before and can thoroughly recommend this Hotel as a base for exploring not only... vad folk säger » the city but the surrounding area as well. - Friendly staff. Helpful. Good location once you get to know tramdetails. Overall excellent stay.

  Consists of several apartments with shared bathroom & kitchen. The room I was moved to was excellent value for money. All round very clean, quiet (for city) and friendly staff. The area may seem seedy, but the city centre, where hotels cost double, is no better. At least here, you won't have prostitutes approaching you on the same street, as a... vad folk säger » colleague did who stayed in the expensive area between the train station & university. There's a bus stop for the city centre round the corner wh - What i loved was the amazing breakfast which awaited me in the morning. I also liked the fact that our host sat down with us to open up and explain us things about the city. Finally, i LOVED the neighborhood, as its one of the only ones in zurich which i think still has character and at the same time is affordable. Good for travellers with a smaller budget who want to be in a vibrant neighborhood with bars, restaurants, and nice old school architecture

  Booked a single room, got a huge double one. Checked in earlier than I expected. Excellent breakfast. The location, while not excellent, is very good - the bus/tram station is right in front of the hotel, with a tram ride to the center taking 7 minutes. I had no trouble getting there even late in the evening. Fast Internet (but requires you to log... vad folk säger » in each time). - Good location. 8 stops by bus No.14 from Zurich HB main railway station. convenient to find super market and restaurant nearby. The staffs are friendly. The room is small and clearn, with sufficent function (esp. considering the reasonable price).
