  Consists of several apartments with shared bathroom & kitchen. The room I was moved to was excellent value for money. All round very clean, quiet (for city) and friendly staff. The area may seem seedy, but the city centre, where hotels cost double, is no better. Finally, i LOVED the neighborhood, as its one of the only ones in zurich which i think still has character and at the same time is affordable. Good for travellers with a smaller budget who want to be in a vibrant neighborhood with bars, restaurants, and nice old school architecture

  Booked a single room, got a huge double one. Checked in earlier than I expected. Excellent breakfast. The location, while not excellent, is very good - the bus/tram station is right in front of the hotel, with a tram ride to the center taking 7 minutes. I had no trouble getting there even late in the evening.
