  The hotel staff was very helpful in general, and we got very good service when booking the whale watching safari through them which turned out to be a memory for life. - Big rooms, helpful staff, nice pool right on the beach which is safe to swim in. Plenty of water toys for the kids to use in the pool and sea.

  This is a great spot right on the beach. Lovely and quiet. Water is so warm and swimmable. Pool is also warm and very clean. Staff were all excellent; Jaga was happy to drop us off at a snorkelling spot and to the train station when we left. Food was great - go for the curries!. Food prices were also very reasonable, in fact the beer was the cheap... vad folk säger » est I purchased anywhere at a restaurant in Sri Lanka. We were there for 8 days and sorry to leave. - The best choose in the south of Sri Lanka. Huge respect for owner of the hotel Jaggat! Hi is a very hospitable person!!

  The staff really went the extra to ensure we had a great time. The rooms are lovely and spacious with good hot water and larger beds with good mosquito nets. We had an unfortunate accident on the beach and needed to go the Matara hospital, the staff were great and helped us get to the hospital and showed us where to go etc..
