  We absolutely loved Malpais. The position in the banana plantations with views to the sea is peaceful and very attractive. ~The manager, Pedro, was extremely helpful, particularly with a problem we had with the car. He speaks very good English. He was so welcoming to everyone and it was a wonderfully relaxing 3 days at the end of a week in a self... vad folk säger » catering cottage at the top of a very steep, windy, narrow road above Icod. I would encourage anyone who wants a quiet, comfortable B&B to visi - One of the best maintained gardens I've seen, perfect views and a wonderfully authentic room, it was perfect!

  We stayed 2 days in room 5 in May 2013. Icod de los Vinos has very steep streets and the monasterio is up such a steep street. Asked for parking, we were directed to nearby street, which luckily was rather horizontal, not uphill, and there was always a place to park, no problem. Monasterio is anything but spacy. Rooms and corridors are very small.... vad folk säger » However, room was functional and practical, we found everything we needed. Staff friendly and helpful. Once we figure out how to connect, WiFi was wo - perfect. lovely, quiet, amazing view from the terrace. best for travellers who want to stay away from the tourist crowds and enjoy peacefully hilly towns on this part of the island. clean, fully equipped rooms with kitchenette, heating, very clean bathroom. i would reccomend it to everyone, especially to couples. very romantique! max ten minutes ( by car) to the closest beach (hidden to tourists:) bar, shops, restaurant, café nearby. helpful owner and smiling staff

  Everything was wonderful! Very cozy apartments, too nice administrator ( she is the owner as well), beautiful view, quate and very Tenerife side! We had some probems with the rental car and we got support from administrator, she is the star, really! - The staff very so friendly and could not do enough to make you feel welcome.
