We stayed in zone 4 with short distance to swimmingpool (100m), small shop (200m) and beach (500m).The apartments is great for families, 2 bedrooms and 2 balconies. The Beach in Son Bou is very nice, 17 Euro for two sunbeds w/umbrella. Good food on the restaurants we tried, but not any gourmet-experience.

We stayed at Hostal La Isla in august for 7 days with the half-board
service. Satisfying food - but don't expect a five stars treatment,
remember it is a hostel - daily cleaning service, aircon+wi-fi,
closeness to the touristic port, the city centre, a supermarket and a
free car parking in case you rent a car. Friendly and kind staff.

The owner was extraordinarily friendly and helpful; the double bedroom for a single person was more than adequate. Breakfast was lovely and he offered me choices of cheese and tomato on the toast - very Spanish and very nice. Location was very central but yet very quiet. Extremely good value. I will return because it's a beautiful spot and the people are so warm.

Kitchenette was adequate, but no sharp knife or small bowls suitable for cereals. Full size fridge with small icebox. Quiet, good location, plenty of activities, perfect for families and all those who love peace and beautiful views, especially turquoise beaches surrounded by white cliffs. Cala Galdana is simply unique. Would happily stay there again.
