  We had a wonderful experience of staying in Mar Blava! First of all, it is located in a very nice part of Ciutadella, on the rocky bank of a small bay, and you can go down to the sea, sit on the rocks, sunbathe, swim and enjoy the beautiful landscape without leaving the hotel's territory.   The hotel is in a good location, very close to the old part of the city. Our double room was spacious and clean and the bathroom was also fine. The balcony overlooked the hotel's swimming pool. The staff were friendly and helpful: they sorted our transfer back to the airport and located our pick-up point. The outdoor pool was superb; well maintained and very quiet.

  We ended up getting a 4-person apartment because it was still cheaper than anything on the Island for two people. It was very nice! It was great staying right next to one of their 4 pools, and just a 5-10 minute walk from a very nice beach. Would come back again! - We stayed in zone 4 with short distance to swimmingpool (100m), small shop (200m) and beach (500m).The apartments is great for families, 2 bedrooms and 2 balconies. The Beach in Son Bou is very nice, 17 Euro for two sunbeds w/umbrella. Good food on the restaurants we tried, but not any gourmet-experience.

  We really liked the location, lots of beautiful beaches nearby and about a 20 minutes drive from the airport. The apartment was pretty basic but clean and had everything we needed. The staff was friendly and helpful.   I think I read some reviews saying the beds were comfy, and yes I did find the beds comfortable. It's a good value for money hostal with very helpful staff. Rooms have got all the basic mod cons like tv and bathroom.
