  Hotel Ciudad de Plasencia is a clean, functional hotel. It is ideally located in central Spain, just off the highway, for those travellers driving between the Northern ports and the South. It's located on an industrial estate so don't expect any frills or views. There is a canteen/diner adjoining the hotel that caters for most of the traveller's n... vad folk säger » eeds. A lot of the locals, including the local cops, use it for their breaks so it must be ok. - The room I had was big, clean, well provided, nicely decorated. The staff was helpful, some even spoke French (any foreign language is for most Spanish, even in the tourist sector, too much - except in Catalonia).
