  It was a beautiful hotel, the building and fittings are top class and the position of the hotel was just what we were looking for, peaceful quiet with lovely walks all around - La Malcontenta is a very charming hotel, where you find a very quiet environment, an historical building renovated with style, very comfortable suites, amiable and thoughtfu... vad folk säger » l staff and a wonderful garden with swimming pool. We enjoyed the place tremendously. We just regretted not to be able to stay longer.

  A unique experience. Owner, Chico, was such a great character, warm and friendly and cooked us the best meal of the holiday. He is a wealth of information about the area and nothing was too much trouble. His home and gardens are very special and if you are looking for something unique then you will not be disappointed. - Think of this as staying ... vad folk säger » at your shabby uncle's country house. Your uncle is informal and friendly (he gave me his biggest room even though I'd booked a small one), and his house has a wonderful garden with stunning views. The interior decoration is a few decades old - but that's what you'd expect from your shabby uncle, right?

  Absolutely fantastic and authentic. The beautiful beaches of Calella-Llafranc-Tamariu are very nearby (5-10 minutes by car, but you can also take the bus). Staff is helpful and friendly, our room was clean and comfortable.
