A lovely little hotel in the heart of Merida.Once the car was parked, a couple of hundred metres away, then everything is accessible. Just down the road from the ampitheatre and the "tren turistico" Take the road train (a bit cheesy I know) for a fact finding locator of all the Roman monuments.

The man working at the desk offered to take our bags to our room or show us around if we had any questions. The rooms were good sized and comfortable.

We arrived after a long journey - drive + flight + drive from Madrid (in torrential rain) so we were pretty tired. The hotel is a little way out of the centre and is on the edge of an industrial zone (sounds worse than it is) so, as the weather was cool and rainy we decided to stay where we were. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Food available until late at the bar and very reasonable. Room was very big and comfortable with a spotless en-suite and a terrace. And excellent value overall.
