  The hotel was just a 5 min top walking distance from the metro station in a quiet, with not many tourists, neighbourhood. (The city centre was about a 15min metro ride away). There is a bakery and a grocery shop just next to it and the supermarket was just a block away. The staff was really friendly and helpful to us. Overall, it is a great budget hotel aw - The hotel was excellent value for money. We had a little kitchen with fridge so we could prepare our own breakfast. The hotel is outside the main tourist area and the local people are very friendly and helpful. We enjoyed some great food in the area and I would recommend eating a plate of Iberico at the butcher's terrace. Barcelona itself was very easy to reach by subway, it goes directly to the Sagrada Familia. Overall a great place if you want to enjoy Barcelona but want to stay away from the

  The owners were very nice and helpful.The hotel & room were clean and very nicely set. It was 5 mins walk to the metro and there are lots of pastry shops and local restaurants around.   The hostel is located in a quiet residential neighbourhood that gives you a great feel of life in the city. The metro is barely 5mins walk and connects you straight to the city in 15mins. Your host is SO friendly and helpful. The rooms are clean and tidy, outside roof terrace has cracking views, the kitchen and lounge area well set up for your us... vad folk säger » e. It's an excellent place to stay - can't recommend it enough - quiet, clean and comfortable, wi - It's a great, nice and cozy, place :) The owners are open and friendly and they keep the place clean. We had a great time watching the celebration of the lights at Horta streets, from the roof-top terrace. We also liked the fact that the hostel was peacefull and quiet althought it was fully booked. A big plus is the well equiped kitchen and good acces to wi-fi. The hostel is close to metro station and there are few shops nearby - but it may be hard to buy something during siesta or on Sunday.

  BcnStop is a centrally located decent compact accomodation probably less than 10 minutes walk down to the Sagrada Familia Cathedral. The neighbourhood is rather safe and pleasant. That said, one should never let their guard down wherever they are and however safe the area seems. Just round the corner, one can find plenty of good eateries at Avenid... vad folk säger » a (Avenguda) de Gaudi. To be honest in the apartment we were in I could not logon to the WiFi connection. Wasn't bothered about it. Ok maybe some more - perfectly located cheap hotel with underground garage in the centre of Barcelona and only 700? meters from sagrada Familia, lot´s of shops, restaurants and bars next to the hotel.
