  The hostel is clean and comfortable, pleasantly decorated in neutral colours and woooden floorboards-there are also some interesting old (19th century?) large black and white photographs on the walls. The kitchen was very well equipped, and there was even an ipod docking station. The location is great: in old town, near beach, but also near small shopping cen - very clean,modern, location excellent, central. Chriatian was extremely helpful, thank you. I was travelling alone and he was always there to answer my questions or carry my bag :-)

  We have spent 2 months backpacking. We have stayed in albergues, campgrounds, monasteries,pensions and hotels and HOTEL CHOMIN has been our favourite! It isnt 4 star impersonal luxury....it is unpretentious, comfortable, quiet, near the beach and a lovely 15 min promenade walk to the city. There are bars and a huge supermarket 5 min walk up the r... vad folk säger » oad. Nowhere else have we come down to breakfast to hear peals of laughter as the host chats away to his guests..in English . He welcomed us as if we - the staff very friendly and helpful. reserved place available in the street next to the hotel for free - that is not easy to park in San Sebastian. bus stop 1 min from the hotel Great restaurant!!!

  Really helpful staff! Very approachable and happy to help with questions... Because of the location I chose to hire a car, and the large car park made it very easy to use. The room was quite large and excellent value. The bar food was great too. - Relaxing, at the countryside Pension.Stopped driving, took a Taxi to the city centre, very reasonab... vad folk säger » le price, spent some 7 hours sightseeings, eating various pintxos/wines.Had real good time.
