The room info given by the recidencia campus del mar is accurate. You get what they promise. Location was with in walking distance from the city center. Also a bus connection (bus 17) is near by. Staff is helpfull. The room was cleaned daily, even on weekend.

Everything. Very convenient location - less than 5 minutes from the beach. About 5 minutes walk to the L4 metro station. Tons of restaurants and small shops in the streets. Quiet place if no sport matches take place on the stadium near by. The interior was very nice, cleaners cleaned every morning and it looked fresh every time we came back from the beach. Value for money. It is a student house which works as the hotel over the summer, so as expected the room was basic, but it had everything I need like private kitchen and bathroom. So yes it is basic but cheap, clean and in good conditions and only 15 minutes walking to the beach. -

Wonderful stay. Central location in the beautiful and charismatic Gothic quarter, walking distance to Las Ramblas and the beach.Very friendly owners, provided with useful information and map. Also requested flight details so could greet us when we arrived, and provided very useful directions and map from Airport. Also free Wifi. Would highly recommend Mapamundo, thanks for a loverly hostel.

The staff are extremely friendly, always smiling and willing to help, the rooms were cleaned every day, they made us feel very welcome and clearly made an effort for us to be comfortable. Great Value, Excellent location 100 yds, in a Lane from The Rambla, very clean with fresh paint, and a good size bedroom and bathroom, also fridge, staff were helpful. We enjoyed our stay here! Very homely and the staff we very accommodating especially with all our tourist questions. Very close to Las Ramblas and all the fun. Would definitely recommend this to anyone wanting to do Barcelona on the cheap. -

Excellent positioning - 2 min on foot from a shopping
area/Starbucl/Universitat Metro and max 10-15 min on foot from
Placa de Catalunya and La rambla. It saves you a lot of time if you want
to visit places and don't like to spend too much time in the subway
or with your map trying to see where the nearest subway is. The
personell is very nice and the places looks pretty well.

I liked the fact that for a such a noisy place i was able to sleep an wasn't sleep deprived,i had a concern about them not having a safety deposit box in the room with the reputation BCN has for pickpockets, scammers etc but it turned out ok nothing happened. -

Amazing atmosphere, the staff were exceptional and really made me feel at home. Rooms and facilities were clean and new. Free dinner was a fabulous and great way to meet people. Location couldn't be better. Definitely I will come back! -
