  Staff were excellant and could not be more accomodating. Modern boutique decor hotel with great location to all attrctions. Room was luxurious and clean- a real haven to relax in after a busy day sightseeing. Room service was impressively quick. Restaurant fitted with quality of hotel and delicious food. PCs for guests, free internet, nice library where you could connect your own PC, mini-bar (soft drinks) included in the price of the room. Very stylish hotel, with lots of candles to counter-balance the cool image. Fantastic roof-top pool (even better if heated, we could not use it in February...)!

  We only had one night in this hotel and then moved to a 5 star in the Port Olympic area. The location of the Colonial hotel was fantastic. Across the street is a fantastic local area full of interesting resteraunts and bars. It is s short walk from the Colonial hotel to the cathederal,the Ramblas, barcelonata etc. We would highly recommend the hot... vad folk säger » el and will definitely stay at this hotel when we are back in Barcelona again. Although we moved to the Port Olympic area we returned to the area oppo - Great hotel in a great location. I had to book this hotel at the last minute due to unforeseen circumstances, and I was over the moon with my choice. Very relaxing atmosphere and for the price I got it, you can not go wrong!!!!

  Cntralt, höll vad ni lovade, bra hotell, trevlig atmosfär, bra personal och rent och fräscht, bra luftkonditionering, ordentliga täcken, poolen var viktig för mitt val och att det låg centralt. - Väldigt centralt med gångavstånd till La Rambla.

  Centralt läge, tysta rum, superb frukostbuffe´. - We were really really lucky. We were given a room on the last floor (8th) which has a private balcony overlooking Barcelona and the Gothic quarter. The room was very fresh and clean and it was very nicely decorated. Mind you I am not very fond of modern design -- I typically like places from the beg... vad folk säger » inning of the 20th centuary. But the decoration of this hotel and our room was very very nice. We really enjoyed our stay there. I strongly recommend it! - everything :) the hotel is lovely, very clean, located in the heart of town. Very attentive and helpful staff. Plus we had a lovely terrace!

  The apartment was great for a group of 6 people (2 couples and 2 friends). It was situated perfectly for shopping and eating. It was easy to find and communication with the staff was excellent as well. If you not use to city life, then this may not be for you.   Pensio 2000 was a real find. Help yourself tea/coffee/cakes and water, all gratis. Even had lovely white dressing gowns provided. An international crossroad location with great mix of people too! No parking or lift but worth the effort. Great value for money but shame it rained! - Location of the hotel is excellent. Close to a metro station and in the middle of Las Ramblas and El Borne. In winter, el borne is a better place to be close rather than since la rambla. The staff has made really nice improvements and facilities in the hotel, that's nice. But some of the stuff like towels and sheets are really too old.

  Wonderfull location, just off the Ramblas on a quiet street. The rooms are good sized and comfortably equipped. Did't have their breakfast. Had avery good stay. would definately recommend the hotel to friends and stay there again if will visit Barcelona in the future. - location and toiletries

  Bra priser i förhållande till läge, mitt i Barcelona downtown. Helt nytt hotell (hade varit öppet 2 veckor!) och alltså totalt fräscht. - hotellchefen va jättetrevlig och hjälpsam. Frukosten va bra för att vara i Spanien.Bra säkerhetsskåp på rummet.Bra läge. Bra bevakning/säkerhetskänsla.

  We loved our room, which was modern, spacious & stylishly appointed. Everything that we could want was there. The staff were very friendly & helpful. We ate in the Tapas bar on one night of our stay & had a very good meal. We did not think it was overpriced. Unfortunately, the Michelein star restaurant at the hotel was booked out s... vad folk säger » o we were not able to dine there on our second evening. We would have no hesitation in recommending this hotel & are looking forward to returning - Rooms were stylish and well set out and in a building with beautiful architectural features. Breakfast was good. Location was excellent within walking distance of hop on hop off bus stop and close to restaurants, massage place and shops. Also within easy walking to La Rambla. Concierge staff were particularly good and helpful and booked a few outings for us. The hotel however could have a stand to show what they offer in this respect to make more profit.

  Trevlig takvåning med fin terass, Ljudisolerade rummen, - Perfekt läge. De flesta av personalen var bra och hjälpsamma. Rent och fint på rummen. Rummen med balkong var bra. Om man skall ha utsikt över hamnen måste ni upp på våning 3 eller 4.

  The location was fantastic. The rooms were very clean and spacious. - Even though I was warned of possible rennovation disturbance I heard/saw nothing! But then again you don't really expect to when you're only using the hotel as a place to rest your head after spending all day exploring the city.
