  Room was excellent, especially the bathroom. We ate in the restaurant on one occasion. The food was wonderful. We were served by a young lady who appeared to be new. I think her name was Alexandra? It may have been spelt differently . She was enthusiastic and smiled a lot. Her attitude was a feature of our evening. The proximity to the city was a feature of hotel and the swimming pool was a - The location of the hotel was perfect , it is few minutes walk from the city center and the bus tour. The staff are friendly and helpful all the time and were kind to my 5 months old son. The inside of the hotel is clean with modern design, the room although slightly small but are comfortable and clean and the hotel provide a cot to by son freely. I was expecting a moderate size swimming pool unfortunately it was small, but again it is clean with modern design romantic atmosphere.

  Our stay was very pleasant. The staff were very helpful, friendly and accommodating. Rooms are soundproof due to the large double windows and very bright and clean as well with a modern style.   We only had one night in this hotel and then moved to a 5 star in the Port Olympic area. The location of the Colonial hotel was fantastic. Across the street is a fantastic local area full of interesting resteraunts and bars. It is s short walk from the Colonial hotel to the cathederal,the Ramblas, barcelonata etc. We would highly recommend the hot... vad folk säger » el and will definitely stay at this hotel when we are back in Barcelona again. Although we moved to the Port Olympic area we returned to the area oppo - Great hotel in a great location. I had to book this hotel at the last minute due to unforeseen circumstances, and I was over the moon with my choice. Very relaxing atmosphere and for the price I got it, you can not go wrong!!!!
