  The host was really nice and the room was clean. I arrived very late out of their check-in time. However, the host said it did not matter and helped me a lot. There was a bar just downstairs where you could enjoy typical Catalonia breakfast!   The pension was spotlessly clean and well cared for, and has wifi, despite previous reports. The lady who welcomed me was very friendly and extremely helpful in advising where to go for a reasonably priced meal. The location was right in the centre of the old town, approximately 2 minutes from the tourist info centre, yet on a quiet residential 'a... vad folk säger » lley'. It took some finding at first as the tourist info map was poor but local people were very helpful in directing, one without me even asking! Tr - - Location is perfect, it's like 10 seconds walking to the old city center, - 10 minutes walking to the bus and train station, - very cheap, -cozy and spacious rooms, - clean and big bathroom, - stuff is very friendly and helpfull - I get lost in Girona, and the lady in the hotel guided me by phone directly to the Pension although she didn't know english good!

  Location cannot be faulted if you want to stay in oldtown Girona which is very pedestian so car rental is best avoided. Suma minimarket next door very handy as is kebab takeaway. Circa 10 minutes walk to bus / tren estacio for day trips to BCN or Costa Brava. For me this "Pension" was akin to a hostel with your own single room. Fresh sheets and to... vad folk säger » wels daily was a nice feature as was the excellent WiFi signal. Pricewise it was very good for my requirements but your sleep quality can easily be af - Clean room, comfortable bed with bright white and clean sheets. The room was basic, but it was all I needed. Location was brilliant in the heart of the old town and the hosts were very friendly and helpful! Would stay here again. And wow, Girona is beautiful!! Check it out!

  Fantastic location and a great room. Even though we had a shared bathroom it was very clean and no queuing required. We had to leave at 4am so didn't make breakfast but the owner put a basket of fruit and muffins in our room which was really generous.   Montjuic B&B is located high on a hillside in an area of expensive homes overlooking the new part of Girona. It's within walking distance of the old town, though the climb back up includes almost 300 stair-steps plus some steep paths. Our room was spotless, comfortable, with a comfortable bed and maid service during the day. There was no bathtub b - We couldn't recommend Montjuic enough - so stylish, relaxing, and comfortable. Carmen was a wonderful host - extremely welcoming, passionate about what she does and helpful when giving tips on where to eat/what to do in Girona. She is obviously a big foodie like us. One small thing is, while we really enjoyed the breakfast, we felt it was slightly overpriced for what you get, however, it was so impressive that many of the jams, yogurts etc Carmen had made herself.
