1) Wonderful staff - Alex was great but George was amazing - both really helpful and kind. Anything in their porwer will be done for your convenince stay.
2) Hostel description states that there are no hairdriers, but there actually is. Also, if you need George would bring you an iron. - something other places would normally charge for.

A really small business with only about 8 rooms. Really friendly staff, very welcoming and explained everything when we got there. The room was very clean, modern and comfortable. The room had double glazed doors so there was hardly any street noise and the building itself is gorgeous! It's walking distance to La Sagrada Familia and just about walking distance to Las Ramblas and then onto the beach. It's also very close to Tetuan metro stop. Trevlig personal. Stort rum (2 st) för 4 pers. men helt utan "utsikt" då ala fönster var mot en mycket nära vägg. Bra frukost. - hotel staff - room was clean and comfortable. Bus nº 24 (that stops right in front of the hotel) can take you to plaza catalunya and you don't need to use the subway (that is 5 minutes away from the hotel)

Hotel Fornos biggest advantage is the l-o-c-a-t-i-o-N. Situtated 10
M. from the Rambla and 10 M. from the clasy and cool Plaza Real I
wouldn't swith Fornos for another hotel. The interior of the room
is a bit old, looks like from the 80's or so but who cares as
long as you are in the middle of the action. The receptionists are
cool, kind and fun.

Very nice staff - not everybody speaks perfect English, but with basic Spanish - no problem! With 'Sp-english' - no worries at all ! :) While staying 2 nights I could change the room for better the following night. Internet for free in the room. Next to highway, but you cannot hear much. - Friendly staff, great price
