Location of the hotel is excellent. Close to a metro station and in the middle of Las Ramblas and El Borne. In winter, el borne is a better place to be close rather than since la rambla. The staff has made really nice improvements and facilities in the hotel, that's nice. But some of the stuff like towels and sheets are really too old.

Couldn't ask for a better location, right next to the metro and on las ramblas. Our room was really modern and exceptionally clean with a balcony overlooking las ramblas. Excellent value for money, especially as we got one large room for four of us. Raj on reception was so friendly and helpful, and went out of his way to make our stay enjoyable. I will definitely be staying again!

Staff was really helpful and friendly. There's two different guest houses in nearby buildings, one is rather communal backpacker style and the other is quieter. I was in the former (without knowing what I was getting into), and they were easy going about moving me into the latter. Good kitchen set up. The backpacker place was actually pretty nice for that sort of thing, just not what I was looking for (I'm a bit older than that now, and like my peace and quiet!).

The room was small (perfect for a young couple) but everything seemed new and very clean. We had a small balcony off our room which was lovely and let lots of sunlight in. The staff were very nice and understanding. They kept my reservation even though my credit card had failed and there wasn't any chance to call my bank as I was in transit from Rome. This was the best place we stayed in our 2 week holiday in Barcelona, Paris and Rome. My family loved the place and wish we had discovered it earlier. Exceptionally clean and neat with modern decor. Loved the pictures at the reception.

This hotel is very well located a short walk to the old city and public
transport. The décor and fittings were all first class, very clean and

king bed was extremely comfortable and the tv had many English

Lovely architecture, marble winding staircase and old wooden doors, clean and comfortable. Very friendly staff. TV on the wall. Lots of information available about Barcelona. Shared bathroom wasn't such an issue for a short stay (1 night).
