  We went to Mallorca for a wedding and it was a perfect location for us to visit either the city center which was a 15-20 minute walk (or 10 min bus ride), and you could also reach the beach in 15 mins (Cala Major) by bus which was very close to the hostel. Besides that, there is a large Mercadona supermarket around the corner and a street (Joan M... vad folk säger » iro) full of really really reasonably priced restaurants because it's slightly off the beaten track. The bed was really comfy and the size of the roo - Probably the best budget option in Palma. In a quiet residential area, close to Bellver castle, but only five minutes walk from the port and airport bus stop (get off at Hotel Miranda and walk up the steps to Calle Joan Miro above, then ask). Rooms are basic but well-equipped (good wifi), small, although each has a terrace to provide extra space. Good eating options nearby, without having to pay tourist prices at the port below.

  I loved the view from my balcony, the fact that I had a bath in my en suite and not just a shower. I loved the terrace and the mix of funky and classical music and the very strong gin and tonic from the bar!! - It was good.

  It is full of atmosphere, old world charm (feels like an original old mallorcan town house). Old tiled floors, original features everywhere, some parts are renovated but in the style of the original building. Outside there are cafes, coffee shops in the plaza. a few mins walk to the harbour/marina - The hostel is located very close to the old tow... vad folk säger » n of Palma, in a very nice and typical old buildilg, the room with private bathroom we got was small but very nice, it's a very good choice and not expensive, I advise it! The staff was very kind, gave us many tips about restaurants and things to do.
