The staff was friendly and eager to serve....at no time did any hotel worker pass by you without a pleasant greeting...The hotel was modern, clean and comfortable with all the modern services and technology available...and great service! - free bus service to barcelona city and it made it so easy to have the shuttle service to and from the airport.

Worth to be a 4 stars hotel, new and clean, the double room is big and comfortable, the decoration is very modern. The TV and some electronic equipment is Bang and Olufsen!!! I like everything very much. The services is great. The rooms were allways clean (the towels changed every day) and confortable. The location of the hostal Oliveta is very convienent. Just couple minutes from metro station Parallel, also you can easily reach the old quarter, La Ramblas on foot. It will take 10-15 minutes to walk.

Stayed for 8 days, in the beginning, the hotel was the mistakes, and they booked us a room to other guests were settled, we proposed a more modest room, two days later freed ours, previously reserved room. Nice place with all that we need during our Travel!! Realy clean, with air conditioning, situated near Placa de Catalonya, which is the centre of the city. Only few rooms are there, so there is no problem with bathroom. Friendly and helpfull host, with a good advices and words for everyone. I'd like to come back this place asap! -

I loved the presentation of the flats upon entering, the way the beds
were made up, the fact that there was dishwashing liquid, tablets for
the dishwasher, toilet paper, rubbish bags etc just to start. Lovely
touches were the free bottle of wine and water, it's the little
things.... Reception was always friendly and efficient and helpful.

3. Having 2 showers was really useful
4. Having a balcony was good so we could dry our towels!
5. The utilities were good - kettle, fridge, etc - even towels and basic toiletries were included which was unexpected.
6. The complimentary bottle of Cava was a bonus!

I cannot fault one detail about this hotel. The staff are very friendly and willing to help, wherever required. The rooms are well appointed, extremely comfortable and clean. There's a great roof top bar area with a small plunge pool to cool off. Lastly, the location is fabulous. Only a few minutes walk to La Ramblas. Would not hesitate to stay here again.
