  I traveled with my wife to Matumi for a weekend getaway to the Kruger. Matumi is 27km from the Orpen Gate of Kruger. We enjoyed an amazing afternoon game drive, we saw only 3 of the Big 5 but it was an awesome experience we will never forget. We also stopped for a drink and watched the sun set.   Have been staying at the hotel over the years - in my opinion it is unique - in its setting and the service.
