  We stayed here for two nights before going on a self drive safari to Kruger National Park. The owners were very friendly and we had a good and relaxing time at the lodge. If we had any questions, the owners were more than happy to advise. The room was very clean and modern. The breakfast was sufficient with a choice of e - We stayed here for 2 nights. Yvonne and Gerard are great hosts, and a bit quirky. Gerard can tell you everything you ever wanted to know about South African car licence plates. The lodge itself is very cozy, with a bush decor. It's very clean, and housekeeping was in our room twice a day, including in the evening to put a chocolate on our pillow before bedtime. Breakfast was also great.   Everything! The staff couldn't do enough, the food was excellent and gave us a taste of the local area, and the rooms were large and had excellent facilities. Recommend the jacuzzi! - The warm welcome; caring; interacting but not overbearing and attention to detail. The food was lovely and fresh.

  Amazing array of animals. A field guide is allocated to you to spend the weekend on game drives - had a very knowledgeable young lady sharing details of plants, animals and bugs. Food was top notch every meal and the chef a pleasure to have around. Cleaning of room done a few times a day even after having a afternoon nap.   Fantastic and beautiful Lodge! Everything is very clean and meets modern standards. Loved the small scale ambiance (4 huts). Kim and Sander are the best care taking, lovely and relaxing hosts I've ever seen. The food is excellent and prepared with love.   From the moment we arrived the staff were attentive, friendly and all our needs catered for in such an authentic meaningful manner. Our 3 nights and busy game drives were beyond our wildest dreams. Our guide and tracker did their upmost to find the game and we experienced the most amazing up close encounters. We would return tomorrow - Great balie for money with fantastic staff on this small size resort with only 8 rooms. Good game drives with your own ranger and tracker. Do moet that all Mels are included in the price as are the game drives, the optional picknick and walking safari's with your tracker. I'd recommend Pondoro to any one enjoying good game drives good food and relaxing in luxury
