  The room was very small but that was expected. It was fine for solo traveler - not sure if it would have worked for two with bags and all. The hotel was clean and the staff were helpful. The breakfast was extra but had a good variety and since not to much around hotel for breakfast options worth the price. I would stay at the hotel again if on... vad folk säger » my own. There is a bus (2) which is about three blocks away that goes to Stavanger centrum in about 20 min. The Kvadrat shopping center is a 5 min. - At one third of the going rate for hotels in this town it is not surprising that it is booked up well in advance. There is absolutely nothing wrong with it and I hope they build a few more there.

  Room comfort is excellent; breakfast is excellent with times early enough (from 5am) so that you can have breakfast before taking your flight in the morning; and location was extremely perfect, just steps from the airport arrival hall, exactly what we were looking for, since we flew from Madrid to Stavangen and we needed to catch another flight ne... vad folk säger » xt day up to Lofoten... Wonderful place, in fact we have booked another stay after going down through Fjordland to Stavanger, the night before leaving - The food was gr8 and the breakfast was loads to choose from and they had been kind enough to replace the dishes which was wrongly ordered by me. If your flight is really early in the morning then this hotel would be a strong recommendation as they have a screen which shows the status of the flights.

  The staff is amazing, so helpful. I had asked about a nice restaurant because it was our 10 year wedding anniversary, she went through a few options until we decided on a location. She immediately made reservations for us and within 30 minutes of us getting settled in our room, there was a knock at the door with a complimentary bottle of champagne... vad folk säger » and a note congratulating us on our anniversary from the front desk staff. Above and beyond. Bravo!!! - Staff was very friendly and helpful. The rooms were good for four star Norwegian hotels but less than other four star hotels elsewhere in the world.

  The owners were lovely, very friendly, helpful and we felt very welcomed. A unique hotel developed from a well appointed ex Hydro electric generating company staff accommodation.
