  Staff friendly. Single room contemporary, very comfortable, felt like a small flat with its own front door rather than hotel room. Single bed extremely cosy with luxurious mattress topper for added comfort. Staff lovely, I didn't pay my bill initially and had to return to hotel to do so. Had a large room with amazing views of the mountains, water and ships. If you were disabled, the rooms too would have been easy to navigate, especially the bathroom. The reception staff were friendly and capable. The restaurant staff were very friendly and helpful. Enjoyed our stay there.

  The location is nice, close to the center, to the port where Hurtigruten ferry docks and overllooking the sea. The two rooms we rent - very clean - were quiet, bright and sufficiently spacious. Breakfast was good and offered a wide choice of food. A suggestion: at least once, have diner at the restaurant of hotel, at the tables outside that overlo... vad folk säger » ok the Norwegian sea. - Great location - handy for all the harbours, shops, restaurants. Room was quite large and comfortable. The window opened fully. Sea view. Quiet. Breakfast was really good..lots of it. Good choice. Internet access from a computer in the lounge.

  I would describe the furniture in the room as functional, it is certainly better than basic it is very clean with a small balcony overlooking the chalets and camper vans below and more importantly a wonderful view of the fjord. Food was 1st class and you could eat as much as you wanted. Breakfast was als - Location is amazing, we were in one fjordview room just in front of the fjord. However there is a camping in front of the hotel, so I guess it's better to stay at higher floors in order to enjoy the fjord even more (we were at 2nd floor out of 6). Breakfast is a complete buffet, you can dind everything you want, and the woman at te reception is very kind and helpful. Prices are not expensive taking into account the high prices in Norway, and it's worrh paying a little more for the room with fjo

  Hotel is situated in the city center; near to the station and the bus stop to Geiranger. We loved the view from our room window. Breakfast was fine. - Great position overlooking fjord, free parking opposite. Newly decorated rooms, twin beds, nice bathroom, friendly staff & good breakfast.

  We left an expensive souvenir in the room and when I called them they found it and sent it to us. Nice hotel in the centre of the city, nice pub restaurant in the same building. - Great central location just a short walk from both harbour and bus station. Free hot drinks available.

  What a wonderful place. Gorgeous views, amazing room (with fjord view), great breakfast, all was excelent. One of my best experiences in Hotels in Norway. It is best if you have a car to get all the way up there, though. Or maybe catch the bus? Don't know. I even got to experience snow in the afternoon and clear sunny day the next morning. Definit... vad folk säger » ely worth it, expensive as everything else in Norway is. - One of our room (no. 313) does commend a spectacular view of Geirangerfjord and is really spacious, though the bathroom is tiny. Overall, it's pricy, but the stunning view might be priceless, so it's worthwhile to stay overnight.

  The location was ideal. We had a picture perfect view of one of the most beautiful sights in the world.   WE loved the reception we received from Thomas - he was sincerely helpful, cheerful and friendly. We asked for an extra heater and he brought it over almost immediately. He offered information and helpful suggestions eg when we asked about fishing and was available at all times. Excellent value for money, friendly and helpful staff but what makes it unique is LOCATION. Facilities are also good, free parking, wifi works well, coin laundry. You can rent motor boats or kayaks to explore the breathtaking fjord. Highly recommended !
