  The reception Staff were very polite and friendly, as were the staff in the restaurant too. Incidentally the Breakfast was also very nice with a wide selection too. The standard room was small but clean and very modern.   Great location, very close to the city center which you can walk to within 5-10 minutes. I have lived in Oslo 7 years ago and this is my second visit with my family. Because I knew the expensive prices of Norway, I was very satisfied with the price. Also the kitchen and everything was clean and well equiped so I could eat anything from the kitchen... vad folk säger » ! That saved me tons of money which I would have spent for restaraunt food. I read the other comments and was scared of the street noise (or pub noise - Good communication and the check-in procedure was quite convenient. Was sent an e-mail that the apartment is ready, went to the office and got the keys and a map handed to me. This is not a luxurious apartment, but the furniture was quite new when I stayed there. The kitchen is well equipped with tools (pans, knives, a microwave etc.).

The tram was only 3 stops away f - Large room (a double) with modern Scandinavian furniture. New and stylish bath room. Great view at the food market across the street (note that you might end up looking at the apartment block on the opposite side of the building). Nice breakfast buffet in the restaurant downstairs (included in room price) where I also had a very favorably priced (for Oslo standards) meal at night. Probably the best place I've stayed in Oslo. Price-quality ratio is excellent!

  We loved the area around Frogner House Apt. Classic historical low buildings, lots of small shops and the tram to downtown. Our corner room was lovely, with space for four: mom and three 15-year old girls. Big TV and Kitchen. Right around the corner there is a shop open 7-23 and 10 meters further a shop open all night. on 2 min walking distance to the busstop to the center. Nice and safe neighboorhood. Pharmacy around the corner. Some shops in the neighbouring streets. 307 is a large studio in olive and purple with unique old stove. 412 is "large hotelroom size" with green/ brown colors, and a balcony.
