  We were visiting in July. We had a 3 bedroom appartement with sitting area, kitchen and bathroom on the first level and 3 bedrooms on the second. Kitchen was very well equipped and the bathroom spacious. The appartement held very good standard all the way. A good base for heading into the mountains and in Geilo you find all you need in regards of ... vad folk säger » "supplies". Some means of transportation (car) required. - the place is real nice. the facilities were excellent and the surrounding area is beautiful. i wish we had time to stay longer.

  When we arrived, there was a small issue with campers having parked their cars in front of our cabin. While not a big deal, the staff readily moved us to a better unit that was bigger and went out of their way to accommodate our every request. The day manager is an American who has lived in Norway a number of years, and she was especially helpful ... vad folk säger » in giving us information on the area and the history of the region. Wifi was weak, but quite strong in the reception are, along with the fresh coffee. - Staff very friendly - couldn't do enough for us. Accommodation basic but clean and funcitonal. Really warm (despite -17 outside!) and very hot water. Free WiFi in bar area. Excellent budget location for ski resort -can drive in daily and there is plenty of free parking. Also on ski bus route if you have arrived by train.
