  The location is nice, close to the center, to the port where Hurtigruten ferry docks and overllooking the sea. The two rooms we rent - very clean - were quiet, bright and sufficiently spacious. Breakfast was good and offered a wide choice of food. A suggestion: at least once, have diner at the restaurant of hotel, at the tables outside that overlo... vad folk säger » ok the Norwegian sea. - Great location - handy for all the harbours, shops, restaurants. Room was quite large and comfortable. The window opened fully. Sea view. Quiet. Breakfast was really good..lots of it. Good choice. Internet access from a computer in the lounge.

  Great staff. At check-in, Jasmine was awesome: friendly and knowledgeable. Moderately priced hotel. 5 minute walk from the bus stop and 10 minute walk to the hurtigruten terminal. Rooms are clean and the shower a good size by European standard. Breakfast buffet was a feast. Wifi was strong throughout the hotel.   It was a nice stay in ålesund hostel. For a small price you can have a kind and helpful service ( even when you get sunburn ;)), clean and comfortable rooms and delicious breakfast. Although the hostel is situated in a center- you do not need to worry about the noise during the nights. You can sleep well.
