  My room on 1st floor (6) was airy, clean, bright and nicely-decorated. Good air conditioning, pleasant (if slightly cramped) bathroom and shower. The building is well-maintained and characterful, with a very relaxed feel, and the staff are helpful and speak good English. It's in a very good location for visiting the Kasbah (5 mins walk), is on a... vad folk säger » bustling market street and is on the edge of the medina (another must-visit) . It's also next door to a couple of good restaurants (Hamadi, the olde - The staff were always extremely helpful with any questions I had. Most spoke French, Arabic, Spanish and English which makes it easy for international travelers. The breakfast in the morning is a bit pricey but it's a great way to start your day if you're not in a rush. The patio where you eat is really nice in the mornings if the weather is good.   The hotel is in a quiet but I believe basically safe though somewhat dilapidated neighborhood. That said, the hotel itself is as charming a place as you can imagine. Overall, We enjoyed this hotel more than almost any other we have come across in all our t - We loved our stay here. Upon our arrival we were pleasantly surprised by the host with the present of a free upgrade to the best room in the house. The ambiance is relaxed and sophisticated, and the house is absolutely beautiful and perhaps in the best location of Tangier. We love it.

  Fabulous riad in the old fort area of Tangier. Welcoming and comfortable with lovely views from the rooftop terraces. Walking distance to some good restaurants. Wonderful breakfast and superb staff. Perfect location,very close to the boulevard, and only few minutes walking from medina. if you come with your car there is an attended parking at 50 mt. Must mention the terrace with the view of the bay, perfect if you want chill out and sunbathing(also in december)
