  My room on 1st floor (6) was airy, clean, bright and nicely-decorated. Good air conditioning, pleasant (if slightly cramped) bathroom and shower. The building is well-maintained and characterful, with a very relaxed feel, and the staff are helpful and speak good English. It's in a very good location for visiting the Kasbah (5 mins walk), is on a... vad folk säger » bustling market street and is on the edge of the medina (another must-visit) . It's also next door to a couple of good restaurants (Hamadi, the olde - The staff were always extremely helpful with any questions I had. Most spoke French, Arabic, Spanish and English which makes it easy for international travelers. The breakfast in the morning is a bit pricey but it's a great way to start your day if you're not in a rush. The patio where you eat is really nice in the mornings if the weather is good.   I first stayed here 34 years ago when it was also a fine hotel, but then it was winter and I hadn't appreciated its lovely gardens and fine pool.   We found one of the reception-foyer staff so helpful. He carried our four cases to our 3 separate rooms; helped me park and exit my large car in the small hotel garage;advised us on shopping and places of interest;arranged a surprise taxi tour of Tangier and surrounding area, all without holding his hand out for payment. Unfortunately I do not ha... vad folk säger » ve this gentleman's name to acknowledge him properly, but he is constantly on duty, so cannot be missed. Central position. Clean rooms. Tasty dinners. - Mustafa at front desk was incredibly helpful overall, especially re: my luggage which didn't arrive on my flight into Casblanca before we took train to Tangier. He helped suggest where to buy some clothes, helped with phone calls to the airlines and shared other tips to help. The location made our daily walks to the Medina and other highlights easy, and the room was very comfortable at a great price.

  All is very very nice and thank you so much Mr Khalel f&b manger he was very profisinal and so kind all the staff perfect - Check in staff friendly and helpful. Room was clean. Location was good. A great choice for a short stay.

  The beautiful house and furniture, the exceptionally kind welcome from various people working at Dar Nour, the experience ot taking tea on the rooftop terrace and breakfast with the other guests there as well... - The hotel was a real oasis in a dirty nasty town.

  it is such a beautiful place to stay, the lovely owner has taken such care to make every detail beautifully uniqur. i like that the rooms are all individually designed. its a nice quiet place to stay, and in such a great location buried inside the old medina. the roof is a lovely place to go, and if we had more time, i would have definitely taken ... vad folk säger » advantage of the calm above the bustling streets. breakfast was delicious served on the roof in the morning sun. a really lovely place, im looking for - If you want to immerse yourself in the local culture and people then this is for you. Right in the middle of the Medina, fabulous for shopping for ornaments, throws/blankets, cooking tagines, etc. People very friendly, but you have to barter and be prepared to say "no". If you are looking to buy something in particular, ask Rachid at the hotel; he was very helpful and actually took us shopping. Gilles, the owner very welcoming too. Would definitely go back.

  We arrived by Taxi and am glad he knows where this Riad is. Sometimes, they don't know where each Riad is and we have to find it by foot somewhere near the medina. We were greeted by the most smiley and happy Mostafa at the door and he was above and beyond in helping us get oriented with the town and where to go eat and mapped it all out for us. W... vad folk säger » e were only spending one night to lay over for our ferry back to Tarifa but he spent quite a bit of time to research when the first boat leaves becaus - The Riad was absolutely amazing. The decoration is exquisite and very morrocan. All the tiles are amazing. Our room was lovely with decoration and a huge double bed. The dressing gowns for using the shared bathroom were also a great thought. The staff were all really helpful, but the manager in particular went out of his way to give us recommendations. He helped us organise our guide Mostafa which was perfect for us as two women. We definitely wouldn't have found as good a guide without Idris's
