The hotel is in a quiet but I believe basically safe though somewhat dilapidated neighborhood.
That said, the hotel itself is as charming a place as you can imagine. Our room had a large terrace overlooking a small but lovely garden with a tile inlay pool.

We loved our stay here. Upon our arrival we were pleasantly surprised by the host with the present of a free upgrade to the best room in the house. The ambiance is relaxed and sophisticated, and the house is absolutely beautiful and perhaps in the best location of Tangier. We love it.

We had a memorable stay in this gem, conveniently situated in the Medina and in walking distance of the Kasbah and old city. The rooms were uniquely furnished with colorful textiles, rugs and antiques. Treats were left for guests each day and rose petals scattered about on the bedclothes. The rooftop lounge area gave good views. Location quiet and convienient. Included breakfast was to die for. Real care was taken for our every comfort. Very clean and charming house cat.
