I have been to Marrakech on a few occasions now and by far my favourite Riad. This was my first time travelling alone to Marrakech and a single female could have been daunting, but, was my favourite trip over! Be smart, get Pascal to arrange the car to collect you from the airport, so you don't get lost in the souks trying to find the riad with luggage, and do practice runs during the day from the square to the riad. As long as you know where you are in the square you can find your way home! Mm

It was our first night in Marrakech and what a great choice! Riad Lorsya is a hidden gem. We loved everything about it. The room was lovely, with an exotic feel, clean and comfortable. The Riad is very quiet. Breakfast was delicious and big, not mentioning the fact that to my surprise I was provided with a gluten free bread! This Riyad is in the center of the city, a bit difficult to find but once you do, you can find it after easily. It has very pleasant open patio where you get breakfast or you can sit there during day. You can use the terrace on the floors next to your room too. The family really takes care of their gests! Both so that you feel very welcome to their riad and to help you to plan/do nice things during your stay. When we need help to buy some jewellery, we were nicely followed to several serious shops and helped to get at good price. So very serviceminded! Thanks!
PS: Taxi t/f airport may differ much. We used the same driver both ways (40 DH from just outside airport/50 DH drop off at airport). This nice and trustfull driver: 0602458448.

I liked the friendly and helpful staff, the breakfast was wonderful and enough (yogurt, orange juice, pancakes, coffee or tea, eggs and crepes), the bathroom and shower were spacious and had nice towels and bath ropes which was a very nice touch. The room felt cozy. And even though we could not lock it, I was ok with it. The roof top was ok, nothing particular. In general I liked our stay at the Riad, it had an authentic feel to it and as I said, the staff made one feel at home.

This Riad was amazing, all I wanted from our Moroccan trip was to see all the amazing tile and plaster work and once I stepped into this place I didn't need to leave! Stayed in a 15th century tiled room with stained glass windows and painted ceiling. This riad is central in Marrakesh but our room was silent at night. After you've been in this hotel you are completely spoilt for any of the other buildings in the city as it is SO beautiful!! The roof top balcony, sitting rooms, inner sanctums - all gorgeous. I told the hotel the stay was a 60º birthday gift for my husband, and they invited us for a special cake, and they gave us a superior suite than the one I reserved.
The best location to visit the city. We have the better experience for all our travels. If you want to visit Marrakesh, stay in Les Jardins de La Koutoubia.

Really friendly welcome and atmosphere in a traditional small riad. It was very much home from home and we were able to relax. There was a great view from the roof terrace over the neighbourhood and towards the mountains. The decor was very eclectic and I enjoyed the old film posters and photographs of Moroccan towns. Really clean, traditional family friendly riad. The owner was exceptionally welcoming to us. Located really close to main square but not noisy at all. The pool was great for cooling off at the end of the day. Would definitely visit again and stay at chouia chouia.
