Yes it's down a alleyway, but all Riad's are, and we felt perfectly safe as it's well lit at night. - Located at the end of a quiet passage this is a quiet traffic free location. We were welcomed by Abdul with mint tea. The turquoise room was spacious with a large ensuite, the beds were very clean and comfortable. In the morning a delicious breakfast was served on the roof terrace. Our room was cleaned and beds made each day. We had a very pleasant stay here. The local shops were interesting, the souks are 10 mins walk and the main square is 15 mins walk.

  Very nice riad. Rooms were very clean and airy. Staff were very helpful. Breakfast was nice. Only downsides were you had to pay to use the jacuzzi ( when do you ever have to pay? Anywhere? ) and the noise traveled easily between the rooms. I am told all riads lack privacy and this wasn't a big issue for us ( group of mates). All in all nice place, well decorated with good staff - Good value for money! - The staff were incredibly kind, helpful and welcoming. The Riad is like a little haven of peace and tranquility. It is perfectly situated in terms of being able to walk everywhere and you get a real feel of living in Marrakesh amongst the local people. We were travelling with our two weenage children and there was enough at the Riad to keep them occupied as well as being incredibly relaxing for us. Definately would reccomend Riad Vendome
