  We stayed at the Riad Carina for 6 days in Feb. It was my first visit to Marrakech & I enjoyed it very much. The Riad is situated approx 1/2 mile from the main square. But this is easily accessible along a narrow street surrounded by all the shops. We had booked a taxi through the hotel & were taken almost to the door.   Perfect staff, the manager was extremely helpful organizing our trips and answering all our questions etc. Really great guy. Also we got probably the best rate in the city to exchange our euros to Dirhams at the Riad. Very calm place to stay and relax after a busy day in Marrakech. The Ryad was in typically relaxed Morrocan style with beautiful features in the public area and courtyard facing bedrooms. A nice roof terrace too. Well located in the old Medina although the entrance route via the old dark souk streets might be a little intimidating for some, although the streets were busy and appeared safe.

  We were efficiently collected from the airport and brought to the door of the Riad. From that moment we received the most outstanding service imaginable: we were greeted in person and offered refreshments to relax.
