  This was the perfect place to stay in our time in chefchaouen. The Riad offers all the peace and tranquility we wanted once we had had our fill of being busy around the city. The staff are incredibly helpful and friendly, the whole place has such a personal feeling about it, making it a very special memory for us.   This is a beautiful little "dar" on the north side of Chefchaoen. We stayed in a triple and found it very affordable. Very easy walk up to the mosque, which we highly recommend.   We stayed here for 2 nights on the advice of our guidebook which said that this riad is absolutely perfect and I would have to agree! It’s a beautifully decorated riad, with friendly and helpful staff who speak English. They have a fireplace which was nice in February in the mountains and the room had a good heater. Very easy to find and well- mar... vad folk säger » ked – though I’d recommend coming from Bab Souk as the riad is a bit closer to this than other medina entrances. Possibly the nicest roof of any riad - The staff was incredibly helpful....we were coming to Chefchaouen by private car and were unable to find our way to the entrance ....one of the guys came down to the town....bopped in our car and led us to the parking area and helped us take our bags to the Dar. The breakfast is hearty and fresh...much more than a typical carb overload...and the ambiance is lovely; fireplace going in the chilly morning...great terrasse to relax and take the sun in the afternoon .   Beautiful location, friendly staff. Good breakfast on gorgeous roofdeck. A lot of care has gone into decorating the rooms.   I really liked Elias and his staff. Everybody was so nice and incredibly helpful. Twice we got lost, first when we got there, and 2nd when we went to explore the old medina and got all turned around, and Elias came to our rescue both times. I would highly recommend Casa Elias anyday! - The owner,Elias is the nicest person we have met in Morroco. It was freezing at the night in chefchaouen, but he brought us 2 heaters. He also helped us book bus tickets to Fez. The rooms were clean and we'll decorated, enough space for 6 people. Wifi connection was also fine. And from the terrace, you can see the fine view of the town.

  Incredibly friendly staff! They went out of their way to make sure we were comfortable/happy. The bed & pillows were super comfortable & the shower had piping hot water. Breakfast was incredible. Probably the best place we stayed in Morocco & wish they were all like this.
