This was a lovely place to stay for a few nights while we were in
Marrakesh. Full of atmosphere and Moroccan character. Not luxury but
beautiful design, furniture and features. We had the two rooms on the
ground floor with the courtyard and pool between them where we had
breakfast - which was plentiful. The roof top terrace was great for

The relaxation of the riad was wonderful, you would never know of all the hustle & bustle going on outside. The roof top area was lovely. Very friendly staff, nothing was any trouble for them. They were always helpful with advise, making reservations & booking taxi's.
Some of us had been before & would recommend an organised trip to the Altlas mountains & to see how the other half live at the NIkki beach! Some good shopping for souvenirs.

This is the most amazing place to stay - as it was our first time to Marrakech we were wary of where to stay, but Patricia and her staff couldn't have done more to ensure we had a wonderful, relaxing break. I have to say that what made my stay so great is the staff. Fouad is a genuinely caring person. .
We arranged to have dinner in the Riad the night we arrived it was delicious. The roof terrace is a fabulous place for the tasty breakfast or a quiet drink in the evenings. Riad Balkisse is well located and is only a 3 minute walk from the Souks and a 2 minutes walk to the main square. Many thanks for an unforgettable stay to all the smiling

Everything was perfect, the building itself was beautiful and a great environment to stay in. Breakfast was delicious - it was more or less the same every day but there was enough varietey within that (sweet pastries, three types of pancakes, homemade yoghurt, bread and more) to keep our tastbuds happy for a whole week. Excellent location and amazing staff!!! My boyfriend and I stayed in this riad after coming from a 3 day trip from the desert, we were exhausted and the staff was great at making us relax and feel comfortable. Smiles and mint tea when you arrive, what else do you need?! You're 3 min away walking to Djemma el Fna!
