  First of all, what I liked most at Best Western Sun Sun is the warm reception extended to us by the Filipino staff aside from the affordability and cleanliness of the hotel. Second, is the hotel location that is very near the public bus stations and free casino shuttle services for City of Dreams / Venetian Macau resort & casino. And most of all, it is very near - Clean rooms, great view from our room, very helpful staff and close to the city center. You can get there by bus (#3a) from the ferry terminal (coming from Hong Kong) and get off at the last stop. There is even a great bakery on the side street that sells those delicious egg tarts for $5 (cheaper and much better than downtown)

  Of all the times I've been to Macau, it was my first time staying at Grand Lapa. I liked the old style charm of the hotel, especially the breakfast buffet dining restaurant. The staff was quite friendly and attentive. I saw the gym area and pool and looked like we were definetly be back next time to try that out.   We had a really nice and comfortable stay at the Holiday Inn. The room was big enough for the 3 of us, food was delicious and the staff from the whole complex, even from Conrad, Sheraton and shopping mall were very friendly and helpful.We travelled with our almost 3 years old son and the atmosphere there was very child friendly.   I really enjoyed my stay. The staff were welcoming and efficient. My room, which was large and comfortable, was on the 14th or so floor and had a lovely view over the inner harbour. It's located near to the Guia Lighthouse, so you need a taxi or it's a good walk to St Paul ruins etc - not a problem though.
