  We spent one night on the way to Elba. Fantastic Tuscan views, peace and total relaxation on the go. Maybe a little hard to get to the destination. I would recommend for people who like detachment from the crowds. Near the 20 to 30 km two wonderful small and charming towns. Good restaurant. The staff couldn't do enough to help you, whether it was about your room, the local towns or where the nicest beaches were. They also spoke very good English. The room was great with everything you could need and was overlooking the valley and Volterra.

  Perfectly clean, very well maintained. Nice and clean swimmingpool. Everything is new, not destroyed. Madame Doris, who takes care of the property and guests, is fantastic and very helpful. Very intimate location, no tourist properties around. Easy to get to the supermarket and beach in Vada by car or bike. You can eat fantastic breakfast outsi - The accommodation was cosy, more spacious and comfortable than we expected and the heating was already on when we arrived so it was nice and warm inside. It was also very peaceful all around. We had a fully equipped kitchen to ourselves, although without an oven.

  This is one of the best places we've ever stayed. There isn't a single thing that needed to be improved. Everything was excellent. Ombretta and Roberto were the perfect hosts and couldn't do enough to help. Nothing was too much trouble for them. The accomodation was superb as were all the shared facilities. The bigger draw cards like - Wow what an amazing place. It is very remote in the Tuscan mountains but just what we needed after a few days in busy Rome. The nearest shop is a 20 min drive away. But we loved it as it was so peaceful and relaxing. The owners are so friendly and make you feel at home. The apartment was well equipped and comfortable only downside was no oven but we managed. My kids 2 and 7 loved the pool, the playground and the wooded areas with a tree house. Poppi castle is well worth a visit we traveled to F
