The castle and location were simply fantastic in the middle of Chianti in the middle of Tuscany. The food offered in the hotel (5 course meal of excellent local cooking on offer each night) was great along with the wine (produced by the castle). The staff were friendly and helpful.

This villa is a winery and the wine tour and tasting is excellent and
half price if you are staying at the Villa. Very happy we stayed outside
of Siena as it was very hot in the city, but cool at the Villa. Great

The hotel is in a wonderful location. If you want a peaceful holiday this is the hotel to go. The proprietors were very helpful and pleasant. Vineyard to the left and olive grove to the right as you enter. Fantastic views of the landscape from the room, pool and dining area. Staff are all helpful and friendly including the chef. We had dinner one evening and it did not disappoint. All amazing I cannot recommend this hotel enough.

The apartments were 200m down from a large supermarket, so cooking in the apartment was made easy. The apartment is not close to the centre of Florence but is easily accessible by bus number 22 from the train station and centre of Florence (about 15-20 mins on the bus). If taking the bus there ring ahead and ask the staff exactly where to get off!

not fully booked. It can happen that you are alone in the complex. For
us it didn’t matter but I can imagine that some people like not to be
