  We loved the location and experience of being in an old walled city. The residents of the city going about their work or daily activities and the children walking to catch the bus every morning was captivating. The hotel restaurant and the small local restaurants in the city were excellent.   We visited this hotel in july 2013, our choice was initially connected to live outdoors, but also nearby with the main sights and the Chianti valley. The hotel completely met our expectations, it is in several kilometers from the road, directly in the middle of the reserve. Our room was pure, spacious and cozy. The breakfast is rather various, and for a dinne - We were very pleased with the accommodation. The hotel was in an excellent state, in a breath-taking location, the staff were very helpful and polite. I particularly liked the way the hotel was designed and decorated, in a authentic Tuscan style. The cook was so skilled that we fell in love with the food and decided to have dinner at the hotel's restaurant rather than going out in the surrounding village. We want to return there on another occasion.

  great location for pool and beach. friendly staff who could not do enough for my 92 yr old mother in law. She had a ground floor room with a little table outside where she could sit and watch the world go by if we were at the beach. - -good location close to the nice beach -very good buffet dinner if you decide for that
