great place to stay in Siena - Travelling by car, we found the hotel more easily than we expected. We were given excellent advice at the hotel on parking in Sienna and using the escalator system to enter the old town. The rooms were good and were excellent value, as the prices were low.

The owner/ operator Anika was awesome. She was extremely helpful above & beyond. She made us feel very comfortable in order to ask her questions or ask for suggestions. The hotel was very close to the train station so we were able to walk there. The buffet was very nice. An excellent restaurant was just across the street and we were easily able to walk the historical Arezzo area from the hotel.

quaint villages nearby.
The grounds are beautiful and peaceful, especially the chalets, which are totally isolated. The chalets have a kitchenette and living space, which is much more comfortable than a typical hotel room.
The staff is also very friendly and helpful, including little Luigi the dog, who is happy to greet visitors.
We will definitely recommend Relais to friends!

The group of eight of us stayed at the hotel as our last stop before leaving Italy to bid final farewell to Tuscany. Set on the hillside of the area, the hotel offers comfortable rooms,perfect views and decent facilities. The dinner cooking was wonderful although the breakfast was a bit light. All the staff were extremely pleasant and could not have been more helpful especially the girls on reception. The hotel had an ideal situation,right on the beach yet close to little shops and the entertainment on the street in the evening which was good but not noisy or intrusive.Although we were on the street side there was not a sound at night.T
