This is one of the best hotels I have stayed in. The position is perfect, the outside pool is spotlessly clean and perfect. The reception staff are the most friendly and helpful. My requests were dealt with quickly and effortlessly. Five star rating. -

The group of eight of us stayed at the hotel as our last stop before leaving Italy to bid final farewell to Tuscany. Set on the hillside of the area, the hotel offers comfortable rooms,perfect views and decent facilities. The dinner cooking was wonderful although the breakfast was a bit light. We certainly enjoyed the stay.

We spent one night on the way to Elba. Fantastic Tuscan views, peace and total relaxation on the go. Maybe a little hard to get to the destination. I would recommend for people who like detachment from the crowds. Near the 20 to 30 km two wonderful small and charming towns. Good restaurant. Highly recommended for a relaxing break or stopover. -

The Relais is run by two lovely sisters who went above and beyond to make our stay pleasant. The location is perfect with nice views and right in between Volterra & San Gimignano. Free wifi. One laundry for free and one spa treatment for free! And finally a local bottle of rosé to welcome us.

Loved the location. The setting of the rooms among the trees and the beautiful scent of the blooming flowers all around you was very relaxing. The beach is beautiful and well kept. Very clean sand. The hotel is extremely clean, well positioned and convenient. The desk staff are welcoming, while the room we used was incredibly clean and well maintained. Above all, it is competitive in price almost beyond belief - cheaper than many a B+B with pretentions in the UK. It is perfectly located.

It is so quiet at night and cooler than Florence. Dinner on the terrazza overlooking Florence. The antique everything. What better than a stay in a Medici Villa for a visit to Florence! You can buy bus tickets right there and hike up to the road to catch a bus. Nice 20 min walk to Fiesole, or you can take the bus. Coffee on the Terrazza next to the Aurora Hotel in Fiesole is great too. There is no A/C but the large ceiling fan was sufficient. No TV, but who has time to watch tv with all the stu
