  This is one of the best hotels I have stayed in. The position is perfect, the outside pool is spotlessly clean and perfect. The reception staff are the most friendly and helpful. My requests were dealt with quickly and effortlessly. Five star rating. - Everything.

  The setting, the fabulous view on mellow Tuscan hills, the extras like the "happy hour" where you can nibble for free, the vegetable garden, the cosy lounge and all the art books/catalogues you can leaf through, the pool of course, the location perfectly suited for visiting Volterra, San Gimignano, Sienna, Florence and even Lucca. And last but not... vad folk säger » least the utter friendliness of the staff. - The group of eight of us stayed at the hotel as our last stop before leaving Italy to bid final farewell to Tuscany. Set on the hillside of the area, the hotel offers comfortable rooms,perfect views and decent facilities. The dinner cooking was wonderful although the breakfast was a bit light. We certainly enjoyed the stay.

  We spent one night on the way to Elba. Fantastic Tuscan views, peace and total relaxation on the go. Maybe a little hard to get to the destination. I would recommend for people who like detachment from the crowds. Near the 20 to 30 km two wonderful small and charming towns. Good restaurant. The staff couldn't do enough to help you, whether it was about your room, the local towns or where the nicest beaches were. They also spoke very good English. The room was great with everything you could need and was overlooking the valley and Volterra.

  Exceptional service from front desk staff--Sara was willing to provide recommendations regarding dinner and wineries to visit (both recommendations were superb). - It was outside the city, necessary if you are driving but very easy to walk or take the bus inside the city walls.

  Loved the location. The setting of the rooms among the trees and the beautiful scent of the blooming flowers all around you was very relaxing. The beach is beautiful and well kept. Very clean sand.   Nice and clean hotel with perfect location in the the quiet part of the city. Hotel however was just a little noisy, especially when you get the room right above the reception. Standard breakfast served every morning with a good variation of buffet. Ricardo is very helpful and always willing to answer any of your questions with a calm face.   We stayed in this hotel in the 2nd half of August for 6 nights. Everything was perfect! The room was clean(bathroom too, but with a small shower), big and the view!!! Wow! Incredible! Free wifi( fast) in the whole building. The staff was really kind and friendly and helpful. Breakfast rich and delicious:hams, cheeses, teas, cakes(best crostatas), fruits, yoghurts,granolas, cornfla - Lovely welcome and friendly service. We had an amazing view over the valley from our room. This was a wonderful place to spend some time relaxing. Whilst the main purpose of our visit was as a central base to go to Florence, Siena etc. etc. We spent a wonderful day exploring San Miniato which has much to offer on its own - and would strongly recommend.
