We had a great week in Florence and our stay at this hotel (6 nights) made the experience all the more enjoyable.

I have spent 7 nights in the hotel Sole. The hotel has a perfect
location: 5 minutes to a train station Santa Maria Novella and 5 minutes
to Duomo. It is situated right in the city sentrum what makes it a
perfect place both for these people who came to Florence for exploring
the city for several days and who came to do shopping. Stuff is very
friendly. Everyone speaks english and tries to help when it's
needed. My room and bathroom were cleaned every day and towels were
changed when I needed. A

We had a wonderful stay at Hotel 4 Assi and the manager was always helpful and made us feel so welcome. The room is cosy and clean and located in a quiet area of Viareggio super close to the beach.

The village of Fiesole at this time of year is peaceful and friendly. There are interesting buildings and archaeological remains. There is beautiful countryside around and some good walks, as well as breathtaking views of Florence.. There was a very good exhibition of modern sculpture in the main piazza.
