  A delightful rural retreat in Chianti yet within easy reach of everywhere to visit. A car however is a necessity. The hotel is peaceful and secluded with helpful and attentive staff. We were more than happy to dine here on each of our 3 nights as the food was very good.   As a family with two teenagers we were looking for a stop off on the way up from rome to a villa starting the next day. We were given a chalet bungalow about 100 metres from the pool, but it was simple, plenty of space, equipped for self catering and very relaxing in a beautiful area. Close by is montemerano which is a quaint hilltop town, and th... vad folk säger » ere is the famous ( free) hot springs only a few miles away on the road to saturnia which made for a great morning the following day. - Location is wonderful! Easy driving to Saturnia, Pitigliano and other quaint villages nearby. The grounds are beautiful and peaceful, especially the chalets, which are totally isolated. The chalets have a kitchenette and living space, which is much more comfortable than a typical hotel room. The staff is also very friendly and helpful, including little Luigi the dog, who is happy to greet visitors. We will definitely recommend Relais to friends!
