  The resort was very nice situated in a quit area. The staff was very friendly and helpfull, they took the time to tell their guests about the area, local receipts/drinks and we felt very welcome. The rooms are very nice decorated and had a very pleasant smell the entire stay. The bathroom was properly equiped with all the necessary things. The breakfast was very well organised, and we had a dinner at this resort th - Very nice place, at the beginning when we reserved we were a bit afraid that this place and his staff will be a bit snobbish, instead they are all very friendly and willing to help you and answer to any question you might have. In the resort there are kind of bungalow and rooms, I guess depends on how many you are and on how much you pay. The swimming pool is nice and the place is quite. There is a parking place which you pay for it (prize in September was 5 Euro per motorbike and 10 Euro per c

  Out of all the different options we had, we (3 friends) chose an apartment managed by Biriola Holiday - mainly because of the huge number of positive reviews. Communication with the manager, Matteo, was excellent and he was very friendly and helpful with everything - not to mention all the great insider tips he had for us! We were glad to be there in the low season, when Cala Gonone is almost empty (i.e. no tourists), - We traveled to Cala Gonone as a young couple and found Residence Biriola very easy to find. Upon arriving we were greeted by Bruno, the elder statesman of the residence, who was quite simply charming. He took us around, showed us the garden at the back and told us we could help ourselves to the fresh herbs and chillis.   The staff were so friendly they couldn't do enough for you. This is a lovely hotel very peaceful and in a perfect location if you are looking to chill out right on the beach front. The town centre of Villasimius is a two minute drive, it's a ten minute walk along a long straight road so you can't go wrong. The breakfast at the hotel was nice, scra... vad folk säger » mbled egg, toast, ham, salami, yogurts, fruit all in a buffet style so you just help yourself and the staff are always around offering you drinks hot - We appreciated the perfect balance of professionalism and friendliness of all the staff. They kept going the extra mile, always carrying a smile to make us feel welcome. The room was very well appointed, clean and comfortable. However, the highlight of our stay was the superb dining experience combining well presented delicious Sardinian specialties with classy service in a pleasant atmosphere. I almost forgot, the hotel is excellently located, right on the white sand beach.

  Despite of its location, the hotel is trying hard to be posh and contemporary and somehow creates its ambient separate from the outside world. It was convenient to have a restaurant attached - it could be too posh in a sense though. - The hotel is beautiful and decorated with a lot of taste. The bathroom is superb.

  Great value for money and nothing is too much trouble for the staff. All rooms seem to have either a balcony or their own patio/chairs etc.. Rooms cleaned to a high standard every day and towels replaced. Very efficient air con. Also has mini bar, safe, television, hairdryer etc... Lovely pool which was visibly cleaned daily Would highly recommend :-) - The staff we met were so friendly and acted on any requests promptly and efficiently. The hotel is within an easy 15 minute stroll of the village centre and yet remote from the hurly burly. Great Pool, extremely clean. Rooms clean and of good size and quality of daily maintenance of rooms and towel changes really good. The night reception staff member Giovanni was so welcoming after a really late arrival following a stressful journey.

  Everything! The staff was incredibly kind and helpful and the Spa is simply amazing! Breakfast was very rich with many options and individual orders for type of eggs and coffee are taken as part of their regular service. Although we didn't need it, there is free parking space available. The hotel is highly recommendable! The owner was there all the time to make - The general quality of the accommodation was excellent, the gardens beautifully maintained and the location between town and beach perfect. Breakfast was generally good but even though most of the guests clearly came through a UK tour company, local cheese instead of processed packets would have been appreciated. Most guests seemed to thin it was perfect.
