All is kept clean to perfection, almost too good to be true. We were contacted in advance and offered various options for a transfer to the hotel from the airport, and chose a private driver who was there and waiting for us.   We are the couple that traveled with Celia and Mark, Lynne and Bob Miertschin. We really enjoyed every moment of our stay! We were near the museums, countryside and within a reasonable drive to Rome. We especially loved the restaurant on site for breakfast and dinners. We ate there and enjoyed the beach! It was beautiful. This family owned b - lovely 22 room hotel in residential area or Tarquinia. 10mins uphill walk to old walled town which was wonderful and a bus ride to the beach which wasn't that nice. The food in the hotel is superb and has an excellent chef. Hotel arranged a taxi from our ship in Civitecchia and again to take us to Rome Airport. Not anywhere to walk so would recommend a car as its a lovely region.

  Loved having breakfast delivered to our room at a time that we specified. It was quiet, within walking distance to all major sites and all staff was great but you would be hard pressed to find anyone more helpful than Rosanna. No matter what we inquired about she got us the info and even looked after our bookings, taxi's, restaurants, etc and we c... vad folk säger » an't say enough good things about her. We would definitely stay there again without even looking elsewhere. - This is somewhat a boutique hotel, and not for the budget traveller, but ... what a fantastic location. And the staff are incredibly friendly and helpful with suggestions of what to do and where to go. Giulia (the owner) did a soft sell on me for her custom-made jewelry, and won me over. My wife was very happy with the ear rings. Thanks! Though no tea/coffee making in room, just had to ask and espresso was delivered, gratis. A nice touch.

In 3 min walk ther is Sant'Agnese/Annibaliano metro - What a lovely hotel. Friendly helpful staff who made you feel so welcome. The room was small but well decorated with air con and free safe. Just a note for others, we spent two days in darkness without realising you could open the heavy shutters over the windows by pressing a button next to the bed!! Breakfast was plentiful with scrambled eggs as well as continental style food. The hotel is not in central rome but only a 10 min walk from a new metro stop S Agnes which takes you to central rome
