  We loved the setting in the Tuscan hills, the wonderful staff, the charm of the old villa. The pool was also nice and the villa was located in driving distance to many of the cities we wanted to visit.   Absolutely nothing. It was a horrible hotel and I would encourage everyone to avoid it. It was dirty. TV and air did not work. Tile in bathroom was cracked. The room smelled of urine. If it had not been so late I would have left. I almost left and slept in car. If I had to do over again. I would sleep in car before staying there.   The wineyard, staff, the room, the surrondings, the food, the wine..... - Nice family hotel fealing. Nice dinner served by lady of the house. The room was very romantic, only the shower had strange arrangement letting all the water on the bathroom floor.

  The grounds, accomodations, and staff made this visit quite a surprise since we booked on line. Being able to have handcrafted Italian dinners on the terrace with Chianti made from the vines just behind the villa made this a spectacular spot! You can't go wrong booking this spot! - Location, wonderful room, friendly staff, lovely meal, great ambiance - very tranquil. And the grounds were amazing - not to mention the pool.

  So cozy and warm like nowhere. Our apartments were spacious and clean and equiped with everything we needed. The hostess Benedetta is so nice and friendly. Thanks to her detailed maps we found were to eat, to shopping, to buy food, to park in Florence, to taste wine and so on! She made our staying there very comfortable. Besides it is a real castle of a 14 centuary with fantastic view to the hills and peacocks walking around! - A Scenic and charming Tuscan estate. We stayed in the apartment which had a kitchen and seating area, with bedroom and bathroom upstairs, very quaint and comfortable and everything on hand to cater for yourself. Staff were very helpful when needed and spoke English well and sent lots of map info beforehand on how to reach. The peacocks added to the charm in and around the estate and some beautiful hilly scenic walks around this area.

  What a find! The high hillside location and views were delightful. The staff were professional, helpful, welcoming and polite. We had a traditional Tuscan meal in the evening, which saved us from trekking downhill again. They rang my home in UK to find out when we would arrive.
