  My husband and I stayed at the B&B Serpotta when we first arrived in Sicily and liked it so much that we extended our stay by one night. We also rebooked at the B&B for our last night before heading home. The rooms/suites are beyond what you would expect from a B&B. The B&B also has a hot tub and workout area which again is beyond most B&B - I (67 yrs) was travelling with my God daughter (29) who has cerebral palsy. All the staff treated her with respect and good humour and indulged her attempts to speak Italian, she has difficulty speaking English! Nothing was too much trouble and when an incident occurred that necessitated a change of bedding, I was assure it was "no problem". The apartment was more than I expected, beautifully appointed and scrupulously clean. A truly wonderful stay.

  Highly recommended. Newly renovated and decorated with care to a high standard in a very pleasant style (as on the pictures). Very, very clean. Common area (living room and kitchen) are large and inviting. It’s on the 3rd floor , there is a lift/elevator. The place was very clean and modern. The bathroom for the room is not actually connected to the room but across the hall. This isn't a big deal as there are only about 4 rooms in the hall. The minibar is cheap and well stocked. There is a supermarket just around the corner as well as some nice restaurants and an information centre. It is a very short walk to some good restaurants and bars, you may have to book, quite busy. The owners are opening an art gallery/library/wine bar in the complex and as these are housed inside large wooden doors, I believe will provide a quiet haven from the busyness of Palermo. Free wifi.   The perfect location in the centre of Palermo. Although located on one of the main shopping roads, the balcony has both double doors and shutters which keep out the noise. Less than a ten minute walk from central station and 5 minutes to the daily outdoor markets. Bus stop located outside the main door.   The location is perfect if you want to be in the center of all the historical sites. From our hotel room, we could see the beautiful cupola of the church next door. The swimming pool/spa is beautiful and the best feature of the hotel. The restaurant is located in an quaint courtyard. All tourist atractions in Palermo can be reached by foot. Also, it is easy rechable from the airport by bus. Our room was very comfortable and clean, but a bit dark. Last but not least, the staff is very friendly and helpful, always ready to answer our questions, recomand nice places to eat and even help us with our short trip to Monreale.
