Beautiful living rooms for guest use - probably the nicest B and B I have ever stayed in. The hosts were charming and very helpful. Our room was excellent with a large bathroom and every comfort. Very good breakfasts with home made local specialities. We stayed here for four nights and would very happily return. Unassuming exterior but a true palace from the entrance hall to the huge dining room, lounge and bedroom. Comfortably furnished with added luxuries throughout. Convivial breakfast with other guests and an attentive hostess.A good position between the railway station and the main square.
alla recensioner » The palazzo is breathtakingly beautiful in a quiet street near the centre of the old town. Our bedroom must have been around 80 square metres and very comfortable. The owner and her son went out of their way to be helpful and friendly. wonderfull!!!! Deal of a lifetime!!! The rooms are adorable, and the common rooms have 16th century frescoes on the ceilings!! Breakfast was superb and served with china and white linen tablecloths. We felt like royalty!. We absolutely loved everything: - the lady of the house, aristocratic and helpful, - the palace is real and incredible, - the location is superb, - even parking is available. Unforgettable, wonderful, amazing!. Beautifully restored palace in the heart of downtown Mantova. Linen sheets and delicious breakfast with homemade breads and cakes. Easy walking in downtown. Parking available for a fee. A fantastic place to stay, close to centre of city and convenient for Railway Station. Extremely warm welcome from Claudio and his family. Would thoroughly recommend. I was not aware that credit cards were not accepted. Luckly, I had enough cash to pay, otherwise it would have been a messy check-out. Not one thing. some of the amenities really needed to be brought up to 21st century standards.
