  Lovely City, hotel was ideal for Buisness, rooms tidy and usefull for buisness with free internet etc. Good location to get into the centre and local sights, resturants etc - Very comfortable rooms, all very clean. Excellent value for the money.

  Staff warmth and friendliness. We arrived ragged after much travelling and wheeling bags to the hotel, to find a warm welcome at reception and an immediate offer to make us two fine cups of coffee, which we accepted with alacrity. The hotel is also the only one situated right on the main historic piazza Sordello, just - The location - we booked a higher priced room to get a view of the splendid piazza outside. The room was simple but comfortable. Breakfast buffet extensive and good quality, excellent coffee from the adjacent bar. Very friendly staff. But note they are closing for three months over the wintter and upgrading the whole hotel, so it may become 'luxury' rather than good quality three star, with higher prices to match

  We thoroughly enjoyed this wonderful experience. Our thanks to Professore Rocco and Massimo who greeted us on our arrival and showed us our magnificent room (La Cappella) and to Cristina and Margaux who treated us to a sumptious breakfast. We've never stayed in a place quite like it. The rooms have been beautifully and - Mantova is an incredible city to visit, for its art, history and palaces. Staying at this Palazzo continues the artistic and historical experience. We did our research and looked forward to this visit and everything was even better than the high expectations we had. Besides the breathtaking surroundings, Rocco and his family were incredibly welcoming and concerned about our needs and satisfaction.   Everything it was in a superb location within easy walking distance of all the places to visit in Mantua. The staff were all friendly helpful and were able to give good advice on places to eat - discounts available etc. The room was large stylish furnished (as was the hotel).and spotlessly clean. The room was very comfortable and clean; the breakfast was delicious and filling; the staff were charming and accommodating. But the BEST thing is how wonderful, warm,and welcoming the owners (Angela & Roberto) are, and how much they pamper their guests! The Hotel Broletto was the perfect stay for our visit to the beautiful city of Mantova!! We WILL be back!

  Spacious clean 2-level number with ceiling beams and antique furniture in old picturesque building at the price of 50 euro - that's fantastic! There was a little kitchen with a fridge and microwave oven in our number - very useful. The location was good - 10 minutes on foot to city center, 15 minutes on foot from the train station. A nice addition... vad folk säger » to all these merits was complete Independence - you receive your keys of the main gate and you can return to the hotel very late without bothering so - An absolutely charming place with a very friendly staff (they speak very good English) and a great combination of ancient building with authentic furniture and a brand new air conditioners, showers, bathroom, etc. Everything just works and the place is perfect. A special thank you for the staff for making me to feel so welcome!

  Lovely, comfortable apartment, with its own kitchen and equipment. Cristena (and family) were welcoming and extraordinarily helpful, and the tea bags were much appreciated. The apartment is very close to the centre of Mantua but was quiet most of the time. At one end of the street there are the buzzing porticos and the sweet, traditional cafe for ... vad folk säger » breakfast. At the other end there is the best view currently to be had of San' Andreas church (closed for restoration). Also at the end of the street - Well organises, clean and comfortable. Service was excellent and the owner very helpful. Her restaurant suggestions were spot on. There was lots of space and the apartment had everything you might need in it. Although on booking it was suggester that use of the kitchen would cost a further 15 euros, it was immediately made clear that there would be no supplementary costs.

We also took her advice and ate locally at the Osteria di Tripoli. An excellent meal and very friendly owner. Unf - The Residenza is an elegant restored villa with modern comforts. We had a large room beautifully decorated with a large bathroom. Everything looked new and of excellent quality. The breakfast was plentiful and contained some of the best pastries and meats. It is located in a quiet and mostly rural area a few miles from Montova. We would love to go back.
